The agreement

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the Solise Paris website, every order you place with us, and your membership of the Orbit. Please read them before you buy.

In effect from 21 August 2026

01

Who these terms are with

Solise Paris is a brand of Solise Designs Private Limited, a company incorporated in India. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Solise Designs Private Limited, and "you" means the person browsing this website or placing an order.

These terms are published as an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and do not require a physical or digital signature.

02

Acceptance and eligibility

By using this website, placing an order, or enrolling in the Orbit, you accept these terms together with our Policies, which are incorporated into them by reference. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are under 18, you may use the site only under the supervision of a parent or guardian, who will be responsible for any order placed.

You confirm that the information you give us, including your name, delivery address, pin code and contact details, is true and complete, and that you are buying for personal use rather than for resale.

03

The website and its content

We describe our pieces, their materials and their finishes as accurately as we can. Photography, screen calibration and lighting nonetheless vary, so colour and lustre on your screen are an approximation rather than a promise. Dimensions and weights are nominal and carry the small tolerances of handmade work.

We may correct errors in descriptions, images, prices, availability or stock at any time without notice. Where an order is affected by such an error, clause 05 applies.

The site is offered as it stands. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including any product or collection, without notice.

04

Your account

Some features, including your order history, your membership card and your referral credits, require an account. You are responsible for the security of the email address and sign-in link used to access it, and for everything done through your account.

Tell us at once, at support@soliseparis.com, if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

One person may hold one account. We may suspend or close an account, and cancel any benefit or credit standing in it, where we reasonably believe it has been duplicated, shared, or used to obtain benefits dishonestly.

05

Orders and how a contract is formed

Prices and product listings on the site are an invitation to treat, not an offer. When you complete checkout, your order details are carried over to our concierge on WhatsApp, sealed with a verification code, and that constitutes your offer to buy.

A contract comes into existence only when we confirm your order to you, by message or email, once payment has been arranged with the concierge. Until then no contract exists, whatever the site may have displayed.

We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or in part, where:

  • the piece is out of stock or has been withdrawn
  • a price, discount or description was published in error
  • the delivery address is outside India or is not serviceable
  • payment is not completed, is declined, or is reversed
  • we suspect fraud, resale, or abuse of a membership or referral benefit

If we cancel a confirmed order for any of these reasons, we will tell you and refund every amount already paid in full. That refund is our entire liability for the cancellation.

Risk in a piece passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we have received payment in full.

Because the order is completed in conversation, the WhatsApp exchange is part of the record. You and we both agree that the chat transcript, together with the verification code carried from checkout and the GST invoice we issue, are valid records of the transaction and admissible as evidence of what was ordered, at what price, and on what date, under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Please keep the thread. We retain our copy for as long as the law requires us to keep the invoice it relates to.

06

Prices, taxes and payment

All prices are in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of GST and of delivery. Nothing is added at checkout. A GST invoice accompanies every order.

Prices may change at any time. The price that applies to your order is the one confirmed to you by the concierge when we accept it.

So that a change cannot overtake you mid-conversation, a price quoted to you by the concierge, and any payment link issued with it, stands for 24 hours from the moment it is sent. Pay within that window and that is your price, whatever the site then shows. After it lapses, ask us to requote, and we will.

Payment is arranged with the concierge through the methods offered at the time. We do not ask for, and you should never share, your card PIN, CVV, net banking password or any one-time password. A request for payment to any account other than one confirmed by the concierge on our published number is not from us, and we ask you to report it to us before paying.

Where a member discount, welcome discount or referral credit has been applied to an order that is later cancelled or returned, the benefit is reversed or restored to your account as the case may be, and the refund is calculated on the amount actually paid.

07

Delivery, returns and cancellation

The full terms are set out in our Policies, which form part of this agreement. In summary:

  • We ship across India only. Delivery is complimentary on every order.
  • In-stock pieces are usually dispatched in 1 to 2 business days and delivered within 5–7 business days. Timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
  • Eligible pieces may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of delivery, unworn, undamaged and complete, subject to a flat ₹200 per box for reverse pickup and handling. Orbit members hold a longer window, see clause 09.
  • The ₹200 fee is not charged when the fault is ours: a piece that arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or that is not what you ordered, is collected and refunded or replaced at our cost, in full.
  • Refunds are made to the original payment method within 7 business days of inspection, with a further 5–7 business days for your bank to credit them.
  • An order may be cancelled free of charge within 2 hours of being placed.

Please give us a delivery address where someone can receive the parcel. Where delivery fails because the address was wrong or incomplete, or because nobody was available across the courier attempts, we may recover the cost of redelivery.

08

The pieces themselves

What the metal is

We state this precisely, because the difference between solid silver and plated base metal is the difference customers are most often misled about. Every Solise Paris piece is built on a solid 925 sterling silver body, not on brass, copper or any base alloy under a coating. Each finish is:

  • Sterling SilverRhodium-finished 925 sterling, nickel-free & hypoallergenic.
  • Gold Vermeil2.5-micron gold vermeil on 925 sterling, nickel-free & hypoallergenic.
  • Dual ToneTwo-tone 925 sterling, rhodium and 2.5-micron gold vermeil, nickel-free & hypoallergenic.

Gold vermeil is a legal description, not a decorative word: it means gold over a sterling silver base, and ours is 23K gold laid at 2.5 microns. It is not solid gold, and we do not describe it as solid gold anywhere.

Purity is certified independently. Every piece carries the BIS hallmark for silver purity, stamped by an accredited assaying centre rather than by us. Stated weights and dimensions are nominal, with the small tolerances of handmade work. More detail is on our materials page.

What wears, and what that means

The sterling body is solid and structural. The rhodium and the gold vermeil on it are surfaces, and surfaces wear: with contact, perspiration, perfume, cosmetics, chlorine and abrasion, at a rate that depends entirely on how a piece is worn and kept. Ordinary wear, thinning or dulling of the rhodium or the vermeil is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered. Sterling silver also tarnishes in air, which is a property of the metal rather than a fault, and cleans off.

Care instructions are set out in our guide to jewellery care and form part of these terms. Damage caused by use contrary to that guide, by accident, or by alteration or repair carried out by anyone other than us is not covered.

Our pieces are nickel-free, but no material is inert for everyone. If you know yourself to be sensitive to silver, rhodium or gold, please ask us before ordering.

If something is wrong with it

If a piece reaches you damaged, incomplete, or with a genuine manufacturing defect, write to us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and your order number. We will collect it at our cost and replace it, or refund it in full where a replacement is not available.

That 48-hour window is a service commitment, not a cut-off. Telling us quickly lets us resolve a damaged delivery while the courier record is fresh, and it is the fastest route to a replacement. It does not extinguish a claim for a latent defect, one not reasonably discoverable on arrival, and it does not limit any right or remedy you hold under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Sale of Goods Act, 1930, or any other law. Report a latent defect whenever it appears and we will deal with it on its merits.

Our pieces are decorative jewellery. They are not intended for children under three, and should be removed before swimming, bathing, sleeping and exercise.

09

The Orbit membership

The Orbit is our founding membership programme. These clauses govern it, in addition to everything above. Where the two differ on a membership matter, these clauses prevail.

Enrolment

Membership is complimentary with your first purchase. There is no fee, no subscription and no renewal. Enrolment takes effect when your first order is confirmed by us, and a membership code is then issued to your account.

Membership is personal to you. It cannot be sold, transferred, pooled, gifted or assigned, and a membership code may be used only by the member it was issued to.

Customer number and tier

Each member is assigned a customer number in the order in which first orders are confirmed, not in the order in which they are placed. Your tier follows from that number:

  • Mercury Club, members 1 to 50
  • Venus Circle, members 51 to 250
  • Terra Society, members 251 to 750

Beyond member 750 the founding tiers are closed. A later customer holds an account and a membership code but no tier, and no tier benefit attaches to it unless we say otherwise.

Your tier is fixed for life. It does not decay, expire or downgrade with time or inactivity. It also does not rise: a tier cannot be upgraded by spending, and a place in a filled tier cannot be reopened.

Where a member number is assigned in error, or the order that created a membership is cancelled, returned in full, or found to be fraudulent, we may correct or withdraw the number and tier concerned.

Member pricing

Members receive perpetual preferred pricing on our pieces: 10% for Mercury, 5% for Venus, and for Terra a rate of between 2.5% and 5% applied to selected collections and dates, which we set and may vary or suspend at our discretion.

Member pricing is applied to the account you are signed in with. It is not applied to guest orders: a returning member who checks out as a guest is shown the prevailing prospective rate, and the concierge reconciles it before the order is confirmed.

Member pricing cannot be exchanged for cash, is not combinable with every promotion, and may be withheld on gift cards, on pieces marked final sale, and on any piece we mark as excluded.

Return window

Members hold a longer return and exchange window than the standard 7 days: 14 days for Mercury, 10 days for Venus and 7 days for Terra, counted from delivery. Every other condition in our returns policy, including condition, completeness and the ₹200 handling fee, applies unchanged.

Other privileges

Depending on tier, membership also carries early access to new releases ahead of the public, priority shipping, a concession on gold replating, and for Mercury an invitation to design discussion forums. These are privileges rather than purchased entitlements: they depend on stock, on capacity and on the release concerned, are offered for the window we announce, and confer no right to any particular piece.

The replating concession is a discount on our replating service, not free replating, and is subject to the piece being ours, being repairable, and to our assessment on receipt. Because the work depends on the piece, its finish and its condition, we quote the replating fee and your tier’s concession on it in writing before any work begins, and nothing is charged until you accept that quote. Ask the concierge for a quote at any time. Priority shipping for Terra applies to qualifying orders above the threshold in force at the time.

Nothing said on the Orbit page or in marketing creates an entitlement wider than this clause.

Changes, suspension and ending membership

We may vary, add to, or withdraw a benefit, and may change or close the Orbit programme itself, where that is reasonably necessary, for example to keep it commercially viable or to prevent abuse. We will give notice of a material change by email or on this page, and will not apply it retrospectively to an order already confirmed.

We may suspend or terminate a membership, and cancel any unredeemed credit or benefit in it, without refund, where a member has used it dishonestly, resold pieces bought at member pricing, opened duplicate accounts, manipulated referrals, or otherwise materially breached these terms. We will tell you why, and you may reply to us before we make the decision final.

You may leave the Orbit at any time by writing to support@soliseparis.com. Leaving forfeits your tier, your customer number and any unredeemed credit, and a place once given up cannot be restored.

Membership benefits carry no cash value and are not property. Any tax arising on a benefit is yours to bear.

10

Referral codes and credits

Members may introduce others to the Orbit with the referral code in their account. The person introduced receives a ₹200 welcome discount on their first order.

The referring member earns a credit for each confirmed referred sale, set by their own tier: ₹200 for Mercury, ₹150 for Venus and ₹100 for Terra. A credit carries the value that was in force when it was earned, even if the rates change later.

  • A credit is held for 14 days before it matures, so that it cannot be spent before the sale that created it is beyond return.
  • At most 3 credits may be redeemed against a single order, spent oldest first.
  • Credits do combine with your member pricing. Your tier discount is calculated on the retail subtotal first, and matured credits are then deducted from the discounted amount as a flat rupee reduction, so the two are never applied to the same rupee twice. Your order summary itemises each line before the total.
  • The ₹200 welcome discount belongs to a first order and cannot be combined with credits, which only a member with an earlier order can hold.
  • Credits are redeemable against purchases only. They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred between accounts, or refunded.
  • A referral must be a genuine new customer. Referring yourself, a second account of your own, or someone who has already ordered earns nothing, and neither does an order that is later cancelled or returned; any credit already issued for such an order is withdrawn.
  • Referral codes are for personal use. Posting them to coupon sites, marketplaces or paid advertising is not permitted, and we may cancel codes and credits used that way.

We may change the credit amounts, the hold period and the redemption limit for future credits, and may end the referral programme, on notice.

11

Acceptable use and submissions

You agree not to use the site to:

  • break any law, or infringe anyone’s rights
  • impersonate another person, or misstate who you are
  • scrape, copy, mirror or resell the site or its content, or use it to train a model
  • probe, overload or interfere with the site, its security or its infrastructure
  • post anything unlawful, obscene, defamatory, misleading or harmful

Where you post a review, a rating, a photograph or any other submission, you confirm it is your own and truthful, and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce and display it in connection with Solise Paris, including in marketing, with attribution to the name shown on your account. You may ask us to remove your submission at any time, and we may decline to publish, or later remove, any submission at our discretion.

Our concierge and our assistant are there to help you buy and care for our pieces. Please do not send them sensitive personal information, card details or passwords.

12

Intellectual property

The site and everything in it, including the Solise Paris name and marks, the designs of our pieces, photography, text, layout and code, belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by Indian and international law. Solise Paris is a trademark of Solise Designs Private Limited.

You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not otherwise copy, adapt, republish, distribute or exploit any part of the site without our written permission.

13

Personal data

This clause is the summary. The full account of what we collect, why, who else sees it, how long we keep it and what you can make us do with it is our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

We handle your personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Solise Designs Private Limited is the data fiduciary, and you are the data principal.

We collect only what we need in order to sell to you and to run your membership: your name, contact details, delivery address, order history, membership tier and referral activity. We use it to take, confirm, deliver and support your orders, to operate the Orbit, to meet our tax and legal obligations, and to write to you about your order.

Most of that processing rests on the certain purpose for which you gave us the data, namely fulfilling your order, or on a legal obligation such as GST record-keeping. Where we rely on consent, we ask for it separately, it is specific to the purpose named, and you may withdraw it at any time as easily as you gave it, without affecting anything done before you did.

Messaging you on WhatsApp

Choosing to check out through WhatsApp is your consent for us to message you about that order: confirmation, payment, dispatch, delivery and support. That is service communication and it comes with the purchase.

Marketing on WhatsApp is separate and opt-in. We will not send you launches, offers or Orbit news on WhatsApp unless you have said yes to that specifically. Reply STOP in the thread, or write to us, and we will stop, and continue to send only what your open orders require. WhatsApp is operated by a third party under its own terms, see clause 14.

We share your data only with those who help us deliver, namely couriers, payment providers and our hosting and database providers, each engaged as a data processor on our instructions, and with anyone the law requires. We do not sell your personal data. We keep it only as long as the purpose needs, and as long as the law requires us to keep the records, invoices among them, that contain it.

You may ask us to access, correct, complete, update or erase your data, withdraw a consent, nominate someone to exercise your rights if you cannot, or stop marketing to you, by writing to legal@soliseparis.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we have dealt with a data request, take it to our grievance officer under clause 21 first; you may then approach the Data Protection Board of India.

14

Third-party services and links

Checkout, tracking and support run in part over WhatsApp, and the site links to Instagram, LinkedIn and other services. Those services are operated by others under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them or for their availability.

15

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Indian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss of data, and our total liability in connection with an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by a courier, a payment provider, or any other event outside our reasonable control, nor for loss arising from care of a piece contrary to our care guide.

16

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your infringement of the rights of another person.

17

Events beyond our control

We are not in breach of these terms, and are not liable for delay or non-performance, where the cause is beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, flood, fire, epidemic, war, civil unrest, strike, failure of public infrastructure or telecommunications, courier disruption, or government action. Where such an event continues, either of us may cancel the affected order and we will refund it in full.

18

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here at the moment your order is confirmed is the version that governs that order, and a later change does not apply to it retrospectively.

The date at the head of this page shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

19

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of an order, are governed by the laws of India.

The courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, save that nothing here prevents a consumer from approaching a consumer forum available to them under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

We would much rather resolve a concern directly. Please write to us first, and give us a reasonable chance to put it right.

20

General

These terms, with our Policies, are the whole agreement between us on their subject matter. If any clause is held invalid, the rest stand. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. No third party has a right to enforce these terms. We may assign our rights under them as part of a transfer of the business; you may not assign yours without our consent.
