Why ours stays bright
Standard sterling is 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Copper is the element that turns silver dark, and we use a little over half as much of it, make up the difference in zinc, and put more silver in the alloy than the standard asks for. That is why ours holds its brightness longer in humid, coastal and polluted air, which describes most Indian cities for most of the year.

Restraint, before anything else
Every Solise piece is conceptualised in Paris by a collective of French designers, with careers built inside the established maisons of French luxury, including Dior, and the new generation of Parisian labels.
They design with the discipline their training demands: proportion before ornament, the silhouette entirely resolved before a single stone is considered. Nothing is added that the piece does not fundamentally require.

- 1Rhodium is specified at 0.2 microns on every rhodium-finished piece. Flash plating, the industry norm at this price, is commonly between 0.05 and 0.1 microns.
- 2Vermeil requires a solid sterling silver base and gold of at least 10 karat, at a minimum thickness of 2.5 microns. Ours meets that in full, at 23 karat and never over brass. Plating commonly sold at this price runs around 0.5 microns, a fifth of what vermeil demands.
- 3Our alloy is 93% silver, 4% copper and 3% zinc, against the 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper of the 925 sterling standard. Assayed and hallmarked independently by the Bureau of Indian Standards.
